A Traditional Korean Meal

Based largely on rice, vegetables and meat, Korean cuisine is one of the most natural types of food you can find. Lacking the unnecessary additives found in most American foods, Korean food is by far healthier. Traditionally a meal is served with main dishes, accompanied with numerous and various side dishes. Kimchi, the most famous of all the side dishes, is served with nearly every meal. Most of the sides you find served at Kinja consists of home-made kimchi, pickled radish, daikon, different types of salads and other pickled vegetables. Pickling is a common way to prepare sides, so don't be surprised to find them being offered with your meal.

With our Korean meals you will often be offered anywhere from 2-8 different options for side dishes, keeping to our traditional roots. Because of the pure ingredients and lack of additives you will find that we offer food that is more flavorful and healthier than others. You can often find us sitting and eating a meal in the restaurant, as we pride ourselves on never serving food that we would not eat ourselves. Most of the dressing, sides and entrees you find are family recipes and made in house. If you are unsure of what to order, ask our staff for a suggestion, they will help you find something to suit your taste. After all, everyone who comes to Kinja is treated as family.
